DFMS pioneers new technology in car servicing
Diamond Fleet Management System (DFMS), the most comprehensive fleet management solutions available in today’s market, reinforces its car services by developing a new program dubbed as the Progressive, Preventive Maintenance System (PPMS).
Grounded on the principle of the airline industry of inspecting airplanes before they take flight, PPMS provides an advance check-up for cars to avoid unexpected road breakdowns. It is currently being infused in the service offering of Pronto! Auto Services, the servicing arm of DFMS, which is a consolidation of three car companies; Budget Rent-a-Car and Buenaflor Insurance Agency completing the roster.
“PPMS is revolutionary in car servicing as it practically gives a forecast of the condition of cars,” said DFMS President Isagani Buenaflor. “This will surely help lessen the chance of cars breaking down in the middle of the road.”
Buenaflor added, “And we are probably the first in the country to introduce such program.”
In line with PPMS, DFMS devised The Roving Pronto!, wherein Pronto! technicians are set to visit the location of clients to guarantee that their vehicles with their components shall not fail. This, as analogized by Buenaflor, is similar to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s rolling market program, created to extend service reach for the sake of the comfort of patrons.
Furthering still its services, DFMS is working on carrying out a Japanese technology called the Freon Recovery Machine in the country, proving that it is a cost-efficient and pro-environment company. DFMS, whose head office is located in Alabang, is also eyeing to put up two more centers in Makati City and Cebu City next year.
